Dis...eyland -- aka U.E.A.!

You might think we don't know how to spell (title above), but if that's what you're thinking then you've probably never been to Disneyland! We had a great time with the finest company -- the Beesley's and Ottley's. If you're going soon, consider buying passes through your hotel to save money, schedule your trip mid-week to reduce the crowd factor, get Fast Passes to avoid long waits, and take the train to avoid tired feet.

Here's the Beesley crew munchin'!

And the Ottley crew doing the same.

Some enjoyed rides with Granny GO!

Others hung-out with Grandpa BO!

Some hung around with questionable characters!

Still others drove around in circles!

Some waited in lines to get a photo with an animal!

Some even looked for hot deals on beach-front property!

All in all, we had "O" so much fun hangin' out at Disneyland with family!

Afton didn't drive anyone batty....

Porter didn't succeed either....

Que went fishin' at the parade, and

Kennedy always had a smile, without the Coke!
Yes, we all had a hot time in Anaheim!

Some of the troops even came home for the show!

You might even see our footprints at Newport Beach, if you hurry!

Hollywood Tower is a great place to stay, but watch-out for the elevator!

Hurry, don't keep Mickey waiting!

Jeremy Donn Ottley 1974-1993 and beyond

September 21st, 1994, was a special day in the life of Jeremy Donn Ottley. It was a day that he knew of something special being done in his behalf -- something he couldn't do for himself that was needed for his progress. In fact, how he knew of this special event is not exactly known, but he knew. No one had spoken with him since before August 29th, 1993, but still he knew something significant was occurring.

After August 29th, 1993, those who knew him enjoyed but memories, dreams and impressions of his continued presence in the eternities, and longed to see his smile, enjoy an embrace, hear his voice, or listen to a new song he wrote. Some sought knowledge of what happens after this thing called death occurs, in order to continue their relationship with Jeremy Donn.

It seems that the only hope available to unite ourselves with loved ones lost to an untimely death is far in the distant future, as the plan of life slowly unfolds to our view, and we live to watch it's seemingly endless unveiling. If Jeremy Donn has, as we suspect, been allowed to watch the events of his family unfold, then he has seen very much of life occur as his siblings have moved from the single life to married life with children of their own.

Our minds reach for answers that sooth, as did the knowledge that he knew of the proxy ordinance work on September 21st, 1994. This knowledge helps us understand that he is still enjoying the events and associations of family and friends. He is still aware of the activities in their lives, to the degree permitted, while in the realm of his current existence.

As of September 21st, 1994, Jeremy Donn doesn't have an immovable obstacle in his path to obstruct his return to the heavenly home to greet Heavenly Parents who know and love him. We all await the opportunity to share our experiences with Jeremy during this past 15 years, including those which lie ahead. We are content that the only true sting in death is sin, which has truly been atoned for by our loving brother, Jesus Christ, and needs but faith and repentance on our part to overcome.

Jeremy, we have learned from you, and hope you are still learning from us also. Until we meet again, please know of the great love and longing that we always have to greet you and find out how you've been. All our love to you, son!

Preach My Gospel

Have you started your Study Journal yet? Any returned missionaries out there with ideas about effectively organizing a Study Journal? After a review, it appears that having a Study Journal will aid one in some serious pondering about matters that truly matter! Leave comments, if you have developed something or heard of ideas that you feel are useful.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you haven't even read the Introduction pages of Preach My Gospel. Well, get to it! I love the Lord, Jesus Christ, and want to know Him better as I progress through this lifetime. I loved the feelings of love for my fellowman as I served Him daily in England almost 40 years ago.

Will you join us as we examine His ways through reading scriptures and the words of Prophets this year? Do you hear Him calling after you? I do!

Sincerest Regards, BO n' GO

Happy Valentine's FAMILY!

Here's some Valentine's back a few years -- yep, it's GO n' BO at the end of the last century! The early years, when life was laid-back and we had time to visit the great out of doors. Life was more simple then, and there were some 'krazy girls' following us around the mountain side also! GO liked to join in the fun also.... Those krazy girls went and found some beau's, now they have Valentine's too -- big ones and little ones!

The KIDDIES drove us to it!

The incessant nagging from relatives drove us to it - so you'll just have to put up with the new wave of the future, because it is now the B (biographical) L (log) O (organized) by G (geeks).... We'll try our best to give you an update at least quarterly! Our lives are busy with family, church and work. We love most of the things we do, but wish we had more time to really excell at them. Here's the start and then we'll let Jenni give us some pointers -- she's a professional at blogging n' stuff.
